This survey targeted asylum seekers, refugees, refugee returnees, and internally displaced persons (IDPs). The survey, which employed Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI), includes 811 household observations: 373 asylum seekers and refugees, 337 refugee returnees, and 101 IDPs. The RMS, developed by UNHCR and implemented by GNK Multiple Services, aims to assess the impact of multi-year strategies and interventions, serving as a vital tool for programming, advocacy, and strategic planning. The data collected is crucial for monitoring progress in health, nutrition, water, sanitation, protection, food security, education, and other key areas.","geog_coverage":"Whole country.","analysis_unit":"Household","universe":"All forcibly displaced and stateless individuals, including asylum seekers, refugees, refugee returnees, and internally displaced persons (IDPs) residing in Burundi.","data_kind":"Sample survey data [ssd]","notes":"The scope includes: \n- demographics \n- cash and livelihoods \n- protection \n- health \n- education \n- accommodation \n- accountability \n- feedback on humanitarian assistance","nation":[{"name":"Burundi","abbreviation":"BDI"}],"keywords":[{"keyword":"RMS"},{"keyword":"Results Monitoring"}],"topics":[{"topic":"Health"},{"topic":"Protection"},{"topic":"Food security"},{"topic":"Education"},{"topic":"Livelihood and Social cohesion"},{"topic":"Gender Based Violence"},{"topic":"Child Protection"},{"topic":"Mental Health and Psychosocial Support"},{"topic":"Cash Assistance"}],"coll_dates":[{"start":"2023-11-11","end":"2023-11-23"}]},"method":{"data_collection":{"sampling_procedure":"The sampling procedure for the Burundi: Result Monitoring Survey (RMS) - 2023 employed simple random sampling to ensure a representative sample of 811 households, slightly exceeding the pre-established target of 811 households. This included 380 refugee households, 315 returnee households, and 90 IDP households, covering both rural and urban areas of Burundi.
