The in-kind relief items included Female Hygiene Kit, LPG, Shelter Materials and NFI kits.
UNHCR conducted Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) to collect refugees’ feedback on the quality, sufficiency, utilization, and effectiveness of the assistance we provide, which helps improve and adapt the services as per the refugees’ needs.
For this PDM exercise, a mixed methodology incorporating both qualitative and quantitative methods was used. By qualitative method, FGD (Focus Group Discussion) disaggregated by gender and age were conducted with recipients of in-kind assistance in 9 camps. 20 group discussions (9 male groups, 9 female groups and 2 GDP groups) took place in July 2024. Whereas by quantitative method, in-person survey with structured reviewed questionnaires for NFI and shelter recipients took place. A total of 1795 households were interviewed by trained independent enumerators from June-July 2024 in 16 refugee designated camp locations (15 camps in Cox’s Bazar and 1 Camp in Bhasan Char) where UNHCR and its partners distributed non-food items and shelter material.
Bhasan Char.
