The data collected confirms a worsening situation, characterized by increased violence against civilians, large-scale forced displacement, and rising food insecurity. The analyses generated by P21 serve as a critical resource for adapting humanitarian responses and refining strategies in protection, food assistance, and resilience-building. This initiative, jointly led by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), aimed to provide a comprehensive assessment of the affected households and key informants. The collected data plays a pivotal role in shaping humanitarian interventions, including targeted food distribution, cash assistance, and livelihood programs designed to foster self-reliance and economic inclusion. Given the sensitive nature of the information, a rigorous data anonymization process was applied using statistical disclosure control (SDC) techniques, ensuring both respondent confidentiality and dataset integrity. This anonymized dataset remains a valuable resource for humanitarian actors, policymakers, and researchers working to enhance displacement response strategies and improve the living conditions of refugee populations in Cameroon.","geog_coverage":"Cameroon","analysis_unit":"Household","universe":"Forcibly displaced and stateless people residing in Cameroon","data_kind":"","notes":"The scope includes: \n- demographics \n- cash and livelihoods \n- protection \n- health \n- education \n- accommodation \n- accountability \n- feedback on humanitarian assistance","nation":[{"name":"Cameroon","abbreviation":"CMR"}],"keywords":[{"keyword":"Project 21"},{"keyword":"P21"},{"keyword":"Protection Monitoring"},{"keyword":"Mali"}],"topics":[{"topic":"Health"},{"topic":"Protection"},{"topic":"Food security"},{"topic":"Education"},{"topic":"Livelihood and Social cohesion"},{"topic":"Gender Based Violence"},{"topic":"Child Protection"},{"topic":"Mental Health and Psychosocial Support"}],"coll_dates":[{"start":"2022-12-01","end":"2024-03-31"}]},"method":{"data_collection":{"sampling_procedure":"","research_instrument":"Income, food consumption, expenditures, assets, community relations, wellbeing, resilience, mental health, health, accommodation, protection, and education","coll_situation":"","weight":"","data_collectors":[{"name":"INTERSOS, DRC, HCR"}]}},"data_access":{"dataset_use":{"cit_req":" (2025).
