The survey targeted returnee households who received UNHCR assistance upon return.\nThe PRM Round 3 collected data across key thematic areas including protection, basic needs and services, shelter, livelihoods and income generation, food security, health, mental health, education, WASH, and connectivity. The survey was designed to generate nationally representative insights.\nFindings from the survey contribute to UNHCR protection monitoring, program planning, and evidence-based advocacy. The data supports analysis of reintegration trends, identification of priority needs and risks, and the development of interventions aimed at promoting sustainable reintegration and longer-term solutions for returnees in Afghanistan.","geog_coverage":"","analysis_unit":"Household and individual.","universe":"","data_kind":"Sample survey data [ssd]","notes":"The scope includes:\n- Demographic and return profile of Afghan refugee returnees\n- Protection concerns and coping mechanisms\n- Access to basic services (education, healthcare, shelter, water and sanitation)\n- Livelihoods and income generation\n- Food security and basic needs\n- Community engagement and social cohesion\n- Reintegration challenges and local solutions\n","nation":[{"name":"Afghanistan","abbreviation":"AFG"}],"keywords":[{"keyword":"returnees"},{"keyword":"post-return monitoring"}],"topics":[{"topic":"Health"},{"topic":"Livelihood and Social cohesion"},{"topic":"Health and Nutrition"},{"topic":"Food security"},{"topic":"Water Sanitation Hygiene"},{"topic":"Protection"},{"topic":"Education"},{"topic":"Cash Assistance"},{"topic":"Income Generation"},{"topic":"Basic Needs"}],"coll_dates":[{"start":"2025-07-27","end":"2025-08-17"}]},"method":{"data_collection":{"sampling_procedure":"","coll_mode":"Computer Assisted Personal Interview [capi]","research_instrument":"The questionnaire covered topics including demographics, protection concerns, access to services (health, education, WASH), livelihoods, coping mechanisms, and reintegration challenges.","coll_situation":"","weight":"","data_collectors":[{"name":"UNHCR"}]}},"data_access":{"dataset_use":{"cit_req":"UNHCR (2025).
