Developed under the coordination of the Inter-Sector Working Group (ISWG) in collaboration with sector leads, the VAF integrates harmonized indicators across sectors to support evidence-based programming, targeting, and policy development.\n\nThis round employed a nationally representative random sample of refugee households residing in both host communities and camps across all governorates. Data collection was conducted through face-to-face household interviews between July and October 2025, alongside the introduction of a randomly selected adult module to capture a more-accurate individual-level outcomes and perceptions.\n\nThe dataset captures key dimensions of refugee protection and socio-economic status, including economic wellbeing, food security, shelter conditions, access to basic services, health, education, and protection, and is designed to reduce duplication of assessments while ensuring comparability over time.","analysis_unit":"Household and individual.","data_kind":"Sample survey data [ssd]","notes":"The scope includes:\n- household and individual demographics\n- socio-economic status\n- food security \n- shelter conditions\n- access to basic services\n- health\n- education \n- protection\n","nation":[{"name":"Jordan","abbreviation":"JOR"}],"keywords":[{"keyword":"VAF"}],"topics":[{"topic":"Health"},{"topic":"Livelihood and Social cohesion"},{"topic":"Health and Nutrition"},{"topic":"Food security"},{"topic":"Water Sanitation Hygiene"},{"topic":"Protection"},{"topic":"Education"},{"topic":"Basic Needs"}],"coll_dates":[{"start":"2025-07-27","end":"2025-10-16"}]},"method":{"data_collection":{"coll_mode":["Computer Assisted Personal Interview [capi]"],"research_instrument":"The questionnaire contained the following sections: Household Information, Family Information, Case Information, Individual Roster, Documentation & Registration, Health, Education, Child Labour, Financial Situation, Food Expenditure, Non-Food Expenditure, Coping Strategies, Disputes, Shelter, WASH, Behavioral Questions, Climate Change, Returns.","data_collectors":[{"name":"UNHCR"}]}},"data_access":{"dataset_use":{"cit_req":"UNHCR (2025).
