Sample Frame, Households [sf/hh]
The survey aims to assess the intentions of Burundian refugees in Tanzania to return to Burundi, understand impediments to return, and inform planning for potential refugee returns. The survey was conducted by UNHCR in collaboration with the Refugees Services Department (RSD). It involved collecting both qualitative and quantitative data through a desk review of existing studies and documents, household surveys, and key informant interviews. The primary objective was to gather insights into the refugees' willingness to repatriate voluntarily and to identify any barriers they might face in doing so, thereby aiding in the development of informed strategies for future repatriation efforts.
