    Abstract

The Zimbabwe Joint Assessment Mission (JAM) November 2023 dataset provides key insights into the needs of refugees and asylum seekers in the Tongogara Refugee Settlement. Conducted by the UNHCR and WFP, the assessment collected data from 349 systematically sampled households through structured surveys. The dataset covers essential indicators such as demographics, disability, chronic illness, household expenditure, food consumption, WASH, and assistance received. Data collection occurred between November 24 and November 30, 2023, using face-to-face mobile interviews. This dataset supports rapid needs assessments and informs programming in areas like basic needs, food security, and livelihoods within the settlement.
