Sample Frame, Households [sf/hh]
The Standardised Expanded Nutrition Survey (SENS) was conducted in Kutupalong Registered Camp (RC) in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, as part of a larger effort to assess the health and nutrition status of Rohingya refugees in three camps. It collected detailed information on demography, anthropometry and health, anaemia, infant and young child feeding (IYCF), food security, mosquito net coverage, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). The survey also measured mortality and related public health indicators. Data were collected using mobile devices and analysed using ENA for SMART and Epi Info 7.

Simple random sampling was used in Kutupalong RC. The sample size was calculated using ENA for SMART 2020. A non-response rate of 8.3% was assumed based on 2020 surveys. Households with COVID-19 risks were excluded following strict safety protocols.
Weighting was applied to calculate malnutrition prevalence across the all camps. For the full combined analysis, child-level weights were computed based on under-5 population and sample ratios. This dataset includes Kutupalong RC-specific results.
SENS version 3 standard questionnaires covering demographic, health, nutrition, food security, IYCF, mosquito net, and WASH modules.
