    Abstract

The Slovakia Socio-Economic Insights Survey (SEIS) was conducted between May and July 2025 to assess the living conditions, needs, and vulnerabilities of refugees holding temporary protection in Slovakia. The survey forms part of the annual inter-agency SEIS process led by UNHCR under the Regional Refugee Response Plan for the Ukraine Situation. Data were collected through a multi-sectoral household-level questionnaire covering health, protection, education, shelter, livelihoods, food security, gender-based violence, child protection, and psychosocial well-being. A total of 388 households (843 individuals) were interviewed using a multi-stage sampling design, with weights applied to align the sample distribution with the demographic profile of Temporary Protection holders. The dataset provides an evidence base for humanitarian planning, policy development, and programming to support the integration and socio-economic inclusion of refugees in Slovakia.
