    Abstract

    The 2019 Mozambique Graduation Programme Baseline Survey was conducted in Nampula Province to assess the initial conditions of refugees and host community members participating in the UNHCR-implemented Graduation Programme. The survey interviewed 460 individuals and collected detailed information on demographics, livelihoods, food security, health, education, and social cohesion. The data serve as a baseline for an impact evaluation measuring changes in income generation, financial security, and well-being over time.

    Sampling Procedure

    A total of 460 refugees and host community members were randomly selected using a poverty scorecard and assigned to treatment and control groups.

    Weighting

    Uniform weights (25,000 / n) were applied to reflect the target population.
