Abstract
This article presents findings from a mobile phone survey conducted by UNHCR in Mozambique, examining call attempt optimization and response, contact, and refusal rates among refugees and asylum seekers. The study analyzes a CATI survey using the ProGres registration database to assess methodological effectiveness in hard‑to‑reach populations and offers evidence‑based recommendations on sampling design, gender stratification, and optimal call protocols.
