    Abstract

This Vulnerability Assessment Framework (VAF) represents the seventh round of the VAF population study in Jordan, serving as a standardized, multi-sectoral tool for assessing the socioeconomic vulnerability of refugee households. Developed under the coordination of the Inter-Sector Working Group (ISWG) in collaboration with sector leads, the VAF integrates harmonized indicators across sectors to support evidence-based programming, targeting, and policy development.

This round employed a nationally representative random sample of refugee households residing in both host communities and camps across all governorates. Data collection was conducted through face-to-face household interviews between July and October 2025, alongside the introduction of a randomly selected adult module to capture a more-accurate individual-level outcomes and perceptions.

The dataset captures key dimensions of refugee protection and socio-economic status, including economic wellbeing, food security, shelter conditions, access to basic services, health, education, and protection, and is designed to reduce duplication of assessments while ensuring comparability over time.
